Pay Transparency Directive
Our training on the Pay Transparency Directive provides you with practical and reliable guidance on the new legal requirements and how to implement them to create fair, transparent, and sustainable pay processes.
The course is a digital, instructor-led program. ByHart is an approved training coordinator through AFA Insurance.
What does the program include?
Our training course on the Pay Transparency Directive provides a comprehensive overview of the new requirements that will take effect in Sweden in June 2026, when the EU Pay Transparency Directive is implemented into Swedish law.
You’ll gain practical insight into what the directive means in practice for your organization—from salary information in the recruitment process and salary transparency to new reporting requirements to the Discrimination Ombudsman (DO).
Components of the program
During the training, we will cover the following topics, among others:
Requirements for pay transparency in recruitment: how, when, and what pay information should be provided to job seekers.
Employee rights: how employees can access pay information, pay criteria, and gender equality statistics.
Reporting and follow-up: how to handle pay surveys and gender-disaggregated pay reports in larger organizations.
Practical tools and processes: concrete examples of how to adapt your procedures, pay structures, and HR processes to comply with legal requirements.
The goal is that, by the end of the training, you will feel confident in your ability to ensure compliance and use the directive as a strategic advantage for your organization.
Purpose of the program
The purpose of this training is to provide you and your organization with the knowledge needed not only to comply with the new legal requirements, but also to create a more transparent, fair, and competitive workplace.
The EU Pay Transparency Directive aims to strengthen the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value, primarily by increasing transparency for both job seekers and employees regarding how wages are set and communicated.
Through this program, you will:
An understanding of why transparency is crucial to addressing unjustified pay gaps and achieving pay equity.
An understanding of how the directive affects the organization’s processes, culture, and competitiveness.
Practical tools for fostering clarity, trust, and engagement among employees through more transparent compensation practices.
The training program is designed to help you turn legal requirements into business value, where transparency and fairness become strengths that attract talent, strengthen your employer brand, and build trust both internally and externally.
