As we reflect on the past year today, we’d like to start by reminding you to be proud of how you’ve handled this time. The quiet battles you’ve fought as you’ve humbly and gradually come to terms with this new reality. Choose to celebrate your strength.

We’re talking, of course, about the pandemic that still has us all trapped in a vice. Last summer, most people probably began to see a glimmer of hope—one that signaled the end of this and the beginning of something new—but we’ve had to learn that this isn’t something we can quickly put an end to. We must celebrate small victories—those brief moments when the pandemic’s grip loosens slightly—and keep fighting for the day when our longing for hugs is finally satisfied. Change is uncomfortable, but necessary.

For ByHart, we look back on an action-packed year—exactly the way we like it. We were founded during the pandemic, nearly two years ago, and have known nothing but the reality we live in today. Over the past year, we’ve celebrated many successes as we’ve helped our clients foster passion in their workplaces, resulting in greater impact and rising profitability. We have a strong belief in a bright future, and we see the evidence all around us. It has surely not gone unnoticed that, for example, there is a desperate need for new employees at nearly every workplace. The drive to move forward and the desire for innovation are so high that there aren’t even enough people to go around. If anything, this is proof of a new era where neither economic downturns nor aggressive viruses can stop us.

ByHart has more partners and clients than ever before, which is fully in line with our growth goals. The plan is set, it’s clear, and we’re following the path we’ve laid out—for the most part, at least—with a few exceptions when our creative streak leads us down a different path (which is ultimately a good thing).

Sustainable and successful business will always be built on strong relationships. We firmly believe, despite digitalization, that strong bonds are formed between people when we physically exchange ideas and thoughts. ByHart works with the latest technology and we are incredibly innovative by nature, but it is naive to think that we can replace everything with digital gatherings.

2022 will be whatever we make of it.

If you follow us, you’ll get to see our orange colors in other locations throughout 2022. In 2021, we managed to move into larger offices at Boden Business Park, but expanding our geographic reach even further is part of our growth journey.

Over the past year, we have developed and refined our product. We have increasingly come to realize that our raison d’être is to create what are commonly referred to as “attractive workplaces,” even though we ourselves aren’t particularly big fans of the term. Our range of services in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, Communication, and Sales—and the synergy between these services—has a tremendous impact on our clients. Very few of our clients use just one of our specific services, as the overarching goal is something else entirely: to build something sustainable together. That is how we create lasting impact.

We’ve launched several new products this year, such as HR Direkt and our brand-new Training Portal, which currently focuses on workplace safety. The market response has been extremely positive, and we look forward to continuing to add features and training courses in the coming year. The development of our SaaS (which we unfortunately can’t reveal more about yet) has made significant strides over the past twelve months, and in 2022 we will proudly present a service that will truly make a difference for companies across the country.

ByHart is always looking for new, passionate team members who want to make a difference alongside us. If you want to be part of our journey as we continue to build stronger employers out there, we’d love to hear from you. Right now, we’re looking for an HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team, as well as an Account Manager who will be a key player in our sales team. Read more about the roles and submit your application if you’re interested.

Finally, we urge you and everyone reading this to take responsibility. Vaccines are one of humanity’s greatest medical advances and save countless lives every year. Did you know, for example, that in Sweden just a couple of hundred years ago, as many as one in ten children died of smallpox? Smallpox has now been eradicated thanks to the smallpox vaccine. Furthermore, a high percentage of the population being vaccinated is the only way to prevent diseases such as measles, polio, and diphtheria.

Take responsibility, but remember to breathe. This is just one chapter—not the whole story of your life.

We wish you, all our clients, partners, and followers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Let’s work together to make 2022 the best year yet.
